Jeanne Ventura, OTD,OTR/L
Occupational Therapist

Hello, my name is Jeanne, and I am a Doctor of Occupational Therapy. I completed my doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from University of St Augustine in Florida in 2020. Prior to that I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Public Health from University of North Florida in 2016.
I have a passion for working with children who have special needs and helping them reach their potential. This passion stems from having a younger sister with special needs and watching her struggles growing up and my desires to help her as much as possible. While finishing my bachelor’s degree, I volunteered at a school of special education and worked with school-aged children of various diagnoses including Down syndrome, Autism, intellectual disorders, and ADHD which further solidified my desire to become an Occupational Therapist. During my fieldwork experiences in my doctoral program, I worked with children in a pediatric outpatient setting working with children of various diagnoses as well including brachial plexus injury, complex trauma, and cerebral palsy. I know that occupational therapy can help children reach their potential and I am so excited to be part of the Joe’s Kids team so I can help children every day.
