Hi! My name is Miranda I work for Joes Kids as a certified speech-language pathologist. I went to Ball State University where I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Previously, I worked for 4 year in Indiana school systems with elementary aged students which I believe has helped prepare me in my current role.
I have experience applying for communication devices through Tobii Dynavox and PRC and have worked with both direct selection (touch) and eye-gaze communication systems in therapy. I am also an SOS Trained Feeding Therapist, helping children build confidence and skills with feeding and mealtimes.
I love watching kids have “lightbulb moments” and enjoy assisting families in helping their child’s communication skills outside of therapy. I am excited to work with your child and you at Joe’s Kids!
